I have no pets but do have many animals that visit my house. Birds, lizards, racoons, snakes and on and on. I enjoy watching the free animals that come by from time to time. Pets aren't something I need to have around because i do not need to control anything.

awww Sorry to hear that (about both cats)

I remember Scooby always had a thing for straws. I'd see him batting one all around your house at 2 in the morning

when i had that major remodel done last year, i had to get the cats out of the house. walls coming down, holes everywhere...it looked like a bomb went off when they were done with the demo, and it just wasn't safe. scaredy cat was born in my house, and for over a decade wouldn't allow me to be within 3-4 feet of him, so i couldn't catch him without using one of those have a heart traps. so i set the trap in the morning with some tuna in it, and when i came home from work, he was in it, but had damn near killed himself trying to get out. he had knocked the trap about 3 feet across the floor, and given himself a massive head wound slamming up against it...blood and piss everywhere. it was horrible. i took him to the vet and had him put down. it was horrible...horrible.

An EGRET is any of several herons, most of which are white or buff, and several of which develop fine plumes (usually milky white) during the breeding season. Many egrets are members of the genera Egretta or Ardea which contain other species named as herons rather than egrets. The distinction between a heron and an egret is rather vague, and depends more on appearance than biology. The word "egret" comes from the French word "aigrette" that means both "silver heron" and "brush," referring to the long filamentous feathers that seem to cascade down an egret's back during the breeding season.
