    No, I mean.. isn't it too real?
    I'm pretty sure some kids would have freaked out if those muppets were really living there and walking down the street like in the pictures

    Of course not. That's why I was saying that the wonderful thing is to look at your neighborhood and see the wonder in it.
    This wonderful, magical place with nice monsters could be your own street.
    It helps to see the beauty in your surroundings.

    :bugeye: I would have been in HEAVEN if I saw Cookie Monster and Grover walking down my street!!
    Grover was more of a Dad to me than my father.

    I loved Oscar I wanted to be Oscar I liked the fact that he could say want he felt.

    In my neighborhood there were scary real monsters - it was a relief to see nice monsters. Even Oscar.

    We also have Tommie (I posted a picture of him a few posts back) who is a mischievous kid really. He pretty much does what he want.

    I watched several times a day, ever day for many years.
    They were my family.
    Sesame Street probably had a greater positive influence on me as a kid and who I am today than any other single thing.

    Not at that age. Later I like shows like Nightrider, The A-team etc. Maybe after that..
