That doesn't really explain how in places, similar to the Grand Canyon there are completely vertical sedementation bands.

In other words, according to the creationists, all of the organisms whose remains we find in the fossil record--everything from trilobites to the Burgess Shale invertebtrates, the placoderm fishes and the therapsid reptile-mammals, the dinosaurs and the wooly mammoths, to birds and human beings--were all actually living together, simultaneously and side by side, until the Flood of Noah drowned them all and then sorted their dead remains, over a period of less than a year, into an order that just happens to make it LOOK as though all of these organisms developed slowly by a long process of evolutionary descent. All of the sedimentary rocks we see today, which appear as though they were laid down over incredibly long stretches of time, were actually all laid down within one year by the raging flood waters; all of the fossils we see today, which are found within the geological column, actually died in the same year, in the Flood, and were sorted out, buried and fossilized in the flood sediments. This is the creationist's "scientific" explanation for the fossil record, which they refer to as "Flood geology".

So basically IAC, if the Dino syngomeon died in the flood, we should still see dinos today. So you are wrong. Good try though.

The still wet sedimentary layers folded, with the concurrent fault, through which flowed the rivers you speak of.

Read After the Flood by Bill Cooper, hundreds of legends about dragons through history, even in government records.

Another question: why are there fossils of marine organisms on really tall mountains?

    What made them fold?

Deluge entombments uplifted by folding and continental crustal uplift due to mantle readjustment after the Deluge.

They folded because of runaway plate tectonics during the Deluge, the magma and water for the Deluge came through the midoceanic rift zones, and 80% of magma by weight is water, which was compressed within the mantle of the Earth and released during the Deluge.

Which directly goes against the Bible which claims rain caused the flood.

You are ignorant of the Bible obviously too.

    Rocks don't float.

IAC, so you believe Dinosaurs lived with humans? Why don't dinos exist today then?

IAC, why are there hundreds of layers of sediment if when there was, according to you, one large body of water?

The reasons for layering are in the opening post, dragons still live today in New Guinea and Africa, just read After the Flood by Bill Cooper, hundreds of historical accounts, but then, you're myopic.

Dragons? You know how many "syngameons" of dinos there were? Way more than one.

Carbonates are throughout the geologic column in varying percentages, and limestone layers are where the carbonate content of the rock is near 100%.

It's estimated that there were about 80 syngameons of "dinosaurs."

Yet only the dragon is here, accounting for one syngameon? Where are the other 79?

IAC, I'm guessing you completely discredit radiometric dating of igneous rocks then, right?
