    Old Testament:

    Exodus 21:22-24
22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.

23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,

24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

This not only covers your children issue, it also outlaws abortion, so what do humans do now? Abort by the minute. We are near the end alright.

The only books I read in the New Testament are the gospels of Luke, Mark and John.

    New Testament:

    Luke 17:2
2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

    Almost all of it.

Old Testament: I have slight doubts about the psalms that weren't penned by King David.
New Testament: Just those 3 gospels.

There are various degrees of sin. I would imagine that most people have lied, does that mean you'll be damned? I doubt it.

    Psalm 116:5
5 Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

To answer the question, I already did. Remember the flood when God regretted that He had made man?

    Genesis 6:6
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Christians believe that Jesus died on the Cross to allow people to believe in Him to repent, the thief(law breaker) on the cross just need to believe. I agree.

    Luke 23:43
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Dave, so you don't believe that God is omnipotent. He is fallible and regrets his prior decisions?

    I think:
    adjective
almighty or infinite in power, as God.

having very great or unlimited authority or power.
    noun

    an omnipotent being.
    the Omnipotent, God.

I think He can switch His "forward" button of as even He wants to watch the show.

Yes. This is God's show. Satan is very real, but generally probably a decent bloke compared to most idiots.

Yeah, you pillock... you don't believe in God yet you blame Him!?

To know God, read the Old Testament, repent and pray.

And lack of rule of law in the places without food, which means bandits steal it and sell it back only to the people who can afford it.

I'm sure the quadrillions could be taxed more and money used by this and maybe the lotto draw worldwide would generate enough money to get solid logistics in place. It could easily be done if the world actually give a fuck... no money in helping African kids... in fact kill them all, as the West plunders it for resources.
