"Bring your own flamethrower." That should be our little slogan, right there on the front page.

How long have I been back? Half a week? And already I've seen that SF has become a flamefest. Almost every thread I read has at least one flame posted in it. Granted, it's directed at people who I agree are not much brighter than a brick – but still, what the fuck happened?!

Or has it always been this bad? My memory isn't very reliable sometimes.

Selective reading young man. I have done nothing but compliment on the lovely shape of some naturally occuring protruding yummie shapes of the female form. Not a single flame to be found. Just respect and adoration all over.

Except you post of course. It clearly was written to elicit a flaming response..tsk tsk.

Congrats on adoring the female form.

Think that if you want... :bugeye:

Do I sense of flaming contempt for the female biological form? Women are born with it. It is not like they can change it. What a flame you are trying to elicit here.

    another flame...tsk tsk.

Yes, there are many flames. But many of the topics which include flaming are just flamebait.

Even so... It's just odd. This place used to meet some sorta meaningful standards, or at least I thought it did.

IMO, banning the IPs of all propagandists would help exponentially. That wowuld probably include vincent28uk, Ritris And His Amazing Travelling Band Of Sockpuppets, brian foley, happeh, dil_420 etc. It seems to me that vinces arrival sent SciForums downhill.

ive never heard of dil_420, but brians propoganda always seems to have a source at least, as compared with vincents inpromptu nationalist rants

I think that politics and world events should be deleted from our forum list because they have nothing to do with science (factually) and they are the source of the most flamish posts.

    Ok I'll bite:
For a little while I was happy you had left. But then you're not the problem.

The problem is people like Brian Foley, Happeh, and oher insectivores drawn to sciforums by W E & P as Avatar has pointed out.

Athelwulf, you're back! Remember me from real life? (I know it's been a while). And to answer your question, I think it's always been like this. But I think the forum is in the middle of a slight statistical gain of flaming. Just the normal ebb and flow. Anyway, welcome back Athelwulf.

Aside from watching the logs burn which of course 'lights up my world' I have observed
friendships and alliances displayed between the posts in these threads, who do you all consider your virtual 'friends?'

The thread wasn't directed at you, nor was any of the flaming from you (that I can remember off hand).

    How could I forget you?

I'm also having problems with the word orb. Reminds me too much of a planet in orbit for some reason.

Can I just call them 'luscious robust hills of soft lustiness'?
