If it hurts, it's not quick enough.

I don't mind...an asteroid would be cool. Mind you, your flesh would start melting before the asteroid even got near. That would hurt. No I think I'll stick with my comfortable heart attack.
I'd say my ideal death is being 100 yards away from ground zero of an exploding atomic bombs. Quick and relatively painless.
Would an Airship be a vessel?
How do you figure that?
gee..i wonder why...
where do you live again? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
i knew a guy so afraid of planes, he only took trains..then a plane fell on it..
we would all choke to death and our lungs would get burnt cause of the fire and lack of oxygen that the fire was consuming..
The approaching asteroid would heat up the atmosphere to a terrific level causing hot hurricane force winds and spontaneous combustion long before it actually hit. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I don't think you'll be able to notice that before the asteroid has impacted. It moves too damn fast..
"Vessel" implies a degree of habitability, so, for example, the Goodyear Blimp wouldn't be whereas the Hindenburg probably was. I.e. people ate and slept on board on multi-day voyages.
Doesn't matter, you'd be at the back of the queue anyway by the time you got here. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I would like to die in my bed, senile and laughing hysterically- outwadly insane but inwards laughing at all the assholes I have met and known in my life and the ironic, inevitable deaths they all suffered as I die laughing.
I have no plans to die but if pressed I might choose to be driving the best supercar at top speed, with a world-class sound system playing my music as I unexpectedly fly off the road backwards into a tree. Instant passport to the next life.
Or maybe piloting a jet, a thing I've always wanted to do. Death wouldn't be so instant, though, unless it was a head-on collision, and I wouldn't want to see that coming.
Why backwards, stratos?
How the fuck can that be fair, they were groceries!
Spinning off the road and ending up backwards against a tree is fine. It means your death is as instant as it is unexpected. Hitting a tree in front of you is worse, because you'll see it coming. You might even be tempted to take evasive action, a natural instinct, and survive maimed. As a result your insurance premiums will go nuclear and you'll be off work forever while they fix your broken bits. No, that's not for me.
On second thoughts we could just wait for 2012 or whatever date we're all supposed to go pop.
um..actuall something like that happened to me..i was going too fast and my back tire got in the dirt put me into a spin and put me against a telephone pole backwards..totaled the car..no seat belt..ended up with just a small bump on the back of my head..
Shame about the car. Reminds me of the recent film "Four Lions" - "I used to be a suicide bomber but I wasn't any good".
it was a 1982 tourismo..brand new at the time from dads inheritence..(learned..easy come..easy go..)
