    Can you name something that has a bottom at the top?

    I made this one up! Hope you like it.

    oxymoron:
    A pair of legs
    I'm pretty sure I've heard that one before, though.

    beyondtimeandspace:
    I guess there are at least two solutions then, well done!

    A carpet sized 10 by 10 feet should be placed in a toilet of size 12 by 9 feet. Exactly in the center of the toilet (the middle of the carpet), there is an marmor thing sized 8 by 1 feet (so that in the middle of the carpet een opening 8 by 1 feet is situated .The carpet should be cut into two pices only: one cut in total.

    .......................................
    whole carpet

    ---> ..................
    ------> opening
    --- > ..................

    Now that's not where I heard it first, but I have heard it before. It's still pretty good that you came up with it without having heard it somewhere else - most of my riddles are just ones I've heard.

    A piece of block lego. At it's top there is the bottom of another piece. Unless, you mean that the bottom and top are part of the same thing.

    Has to be part of the same thing.

    melodicbard, actually not what I was looking for. Hint: It is a living thing.

    I'm sorry to say I've heard the riddle before too (before this thread and before that link). If you did think of it on your own however, it is clever, and a funny coincidence.
