Removing vocals from a track.

    Hey all,

    Quick question...it must be possible to remove vocals from a track so i'm just left with the backing music (a la karaoke if you will).

    If so how can i do this? - Or would anyone be good enough to do it for me?.

    There are step by step tutorials on Youtube on how to do this with Audacity.

    Do some searching there, and you'll find what you're looking for. Hint: 'remove vocals audacity' is the search to use.

    Thanks for the pointers.

    Tried Audacity (on a MAC) but kinda came out crackly and can still hear the vocals. Will have another mess around with it later.
