i always stop whatever i'm doing when i hear this piece of music always as it touches everyone's heart. it's so simple in it's elegance but complex in emotions. when it's played in public where people are bustling going on about their lives, it's even more metaphorical. it's sad yet full of love, beautiful yet heartwrenching, innocent yet wise, reminiscent of loss yet hopeful etc.
compare these two orchestras playing the same sheet of music. the size of your orchestra, the quality of instruments used, the sound hall etc all play a part but the royal philharmonic is renowned for a reason and they are simply a better orchestra. listen to how they brought this song to life. i have to give credit where credit is due.
