    How so?
    x * x = 2x
    What physical object is involved?

It doesn't need to be. It is still math yes?

So what are you trying to say now?

Proving my point that , mathematics , is dependent on physical objects existing

But you agreed that it doesn't.
    Please explain the confusion.

Why does my post #165 lead to this conclusion of yours ?

You posted yes to non-objectified math as being mathematics.
    x+x =2x

    x/y+x^3 =z
Not a material object in sight..... still.... it's mathematics yes?
    No need for confusion...

    Non-objectified math ?

What does this mean ? To you ?

    I understand

    Your , non-objectified mathematics

    So...which proves what ?

No physical objects in the mathematics .

But fundamentally the root , of all numbers represent something that is physical

Mathematics is considerably more than just numbers...

    Of course , something physical

Other than this , what more could a number be ?

    try:
    +
    -
    =
    *
    /
    ^
    etc.
and all the other symbols used.
in fact with out them numbers are pretty useless and mathematics would not exist.

    you've never played Sudoku?
or done any numerology..... numbers = mystical and not material.

Oh I dunno - you might learn something new?

Funny, some people pretend to like science yet resist exposing themselves to learning.

OK Riv: the sun is really Zeus, in his flaming chariot, racing across the sky.
