Did Euclid really dedicate his book "To Faith" or was that just the translator's dedication? I came across that dedication once on (i think) a Project Gutenberg e-book but can't find it now. Just curious, just wanting to know if euclid actually had a sense of humor thats all.
The original texts of Euclid are long since gone. What we have is the product of many translations and copies.
