the thing under peoples names like "senior member" and things i was wondering how many posts it takes to get to the next level and what is teh ultimate level and has anyone reached this or who is the person with the highest posts?
 
They're somewhat arbitrary. I can't remember the exact thresholds, but I think 'Member' is around 30 posts and 'Senior Member' is around 100. Of course, most people tend to change the text once they've been around long enough to have that ability unlocked.

If you want to see users ranked by # of posts, check out the 'memberlist' at the top of the screen.
