How has Internet porn changed your life, if at all? And if you are under about 25, I don't think you can answer this question, since you don't know a world w/o internet porn. I do. It was awful.

Internet porn destroys nobody's life. It merely opens up a sexually liberal mindset that we tend to keep subdued.

 

and by opening sexually liberal mindset, most of us cant handle this liberty, we go and commit suicide.

 

I won't hesitate to admit that pornography sometimes has content of questionable value.

 

Most porn, so they tell me, favors the producer's skewed, or, warped, perception of what the paying customer wants.

They tell me that most porn shows sex to be much more brutal or violent than what most men or women actually desire or will tolerate more than once.

So, my conclusion, depending on only what I have been told, is that most porn will give a naive person who has sexual curiosity a vastly wrong idea of what sex really should be.

In the sense that sex should be gentle and friendly whereas it is very often portrayed, so they say, as predatory and violent, porn should be generally, though not exclusively, called very destructive.

In my humble opinion. ( I have a HUMBLE opinion?!).

 

Is this analogous to the influence of media on violent behavior?

why would advertisers be willing to spend 1000's maybe 10's of thousands of dollars for a 15 second commercial if media has no effect?

What you say here seems to imply advertisers wanting a person to buy a product. What sort of product? If it doesn't advertise, what would this commercial be about? A videogame, perhaps?

and related to this is the fact of subliminal messages which were voluntarily banned by the media
there has to be something that would make you see something that you are not concious of. why is this?
