I heat up polyurethane glue in the plastic bottle to make it easier to pour .

The last bit is always that bit thicker.

Anyway,I heated up the dregs of this bottle of gorilla glue and my idea was to collect the remaining liquid in the cap as I unsrewed it.

A small explosion resulted)more a splattering) and no harm was done.

What if it had gone in my (or anyone else's eyes)

    Pretty stupid

    How stupid?

Should I be locked up for my own good?

No that would put an end to glue sniffing.

You might embalm corpses with the technique.

When I was about 18 a friend of mine had just had his third accident in a car and wondered whether it was bad luck or that he was a bad driver.

He was a fairly accomplished sportsman and passed his test first time.

So ,"objectively" he should have been a good driver but we know now that young people's brains don't finish developing until later

Well no Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - in particular Safety goggles

Locked up perhaps to harsh. Kept away from dangerous chemicals? DEFINATELY

    Graded 3.5 on a 1 to 10 scale - 1 being dead

    risk assessment
what is the value of the risk being accepted ?
what is the ability to accurately asses that risk ?

what is your margin valuation assessment like at factoring multiplying factors of circumstance
    spatial composition & computation

chemical interference drugs meds moods ?
some moods emotions meds & drugs will directly interfere with your ability to factor some things

Yeah. Safety Goggles would have been a good idea.
But Safety Data Sheet says "If in eyes, rinse with water."
So, it would be an irritant, but if you rinsed it right away, likely no long-term damage.

Of course Safety Dara Sheet says that

Normally include for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention
    .
They put that on Safety Dara Sheets for Hydrochloric Acid

    Called covering your arse

If you had read Safety Dara Sheet prior to conducting your experiment will downgrade my 3.5 grade

    You are now 2.5

So that I can improve my grade.

No. Fill your goggles with water, then shake your head with your eyes open. Conserves water.

if there is a plastic impurity in the plastic container your heat it in, like a bubble.
it might explode at just the right rate to set fire to the plastic as it explodes
turning it into a tiny napalm bomb

say for instance the air-tight seal in the cap of the tube was mistakenly replaced with magnesium

would the microwave ignite the magnesium ?

    random bumping ?

2 of my high school Science teachers & my biological father taught me the erratic nature of open air exchanges & how they can quickly become unstable even with known measures & experience of the reaction chemicals etc

    soo many variables

i have spent hours doing my own study with things in the kitchen
just to see how they vary & work
no formal theory just playing around

What is random bumping and is it legal?

Are you wondering how I heated the bottle?
