Just purchased it. Not sure if I am digging it yet. Anybody else here play it? If so, what did you think about it?

I think it was GameSpot's biggest disappointment of 2006 or 7, actually.

Yes! I loved it. I didn't complete it, but I rarely do complete games. I will complete Oblivion one day. I have to, else my life is doomed to an array of half played games. I'm frightened that if I do the world will end though. I think Fable's a bit cutsie though, although anything with more than the average shooty shooty benal crap is worth at least a little shufty.

Fable was alright, Fable II was better. Both okay games, I like the open world like Oblivion.

Fable II isn't so cutsie, EmmZ, you can have whores. kill your wife, abandon your kids, get STD's, kill entire towns... heh.

Mass Effect, Oblivion, or Fallout 3

    All great games.

Mass Effect is phenomenal, as is Fallout 3. The new expansion is nice.

There is too much i n Oblivion. And a lot of it is really tedious gameplay. I've got a lot of hours logged into it and when I sit down to play now, I am sleepy before I get started.

Mass Effect II looks like it's going to be amazing too.

At half price though, Fable II is worth a good amount of gameplay. It's nice, and the gambling mini-games are interesting.

Here in China you can buy 100 X-Box games for ~ 30 bucks. It's a lot more fun buying 100 games than 1 for the same price. It seems more worthwhile... hmmm

No, but some of my favorite RPG's include Mass Effect and Knights of the Old Republic

Mass Effect is a great game; also KOTOR

    And try Oblivion, great game.

Fable was an enjoyable but forgettable game. 6/10.

Like others I can't help but comment that Oblivion was much better.

I think I might look out for Mass Effect.

Diablo 2. If you haven't played Diablo and Diablo 2 you're missing out on one of THE best games ever to be released. This isn't necessarily at skaught, since he is fairly old and must've been playing games when D2 came out, but play the damn game.

i agree about diablo. the utima games were brillant but 3 of them cant run anything but old dos only machines sadly (compadabilities wont work either)

D&D games, baldurs gate, icewind dale, neverwinters nights

KOTOR 1 and maybe 2 if the restoration is ever finished

bah Ultima II sucked and Ultima 8 sucked.

FO3 has an ok story, but frankly, like a lot of Bethesda games, the beauty is skin deep.

Mass effect is good, but on rails like KOTOR, without much effect on how you play the game = the ending.

The Witcher is a good relatively new RPG. Great story and great in depth characters like KOTOR/Mass effect/Bioware stuff.
