Can someone verify the statement that photons are positive particles?

I doubt it, since photons do not have a charge.

As origin has said, photons are electrically neutral particles although they do act as the force carriers for the electromagnetic force.

So can we say that photons are special particles?

Photon may be special particles but carrying force does not mean carrying charge.

    Special in what way?

One way particle photon may be special because it is charge-less and mass-less but can carry force.

    Photons are their own antiparticles
