Strange that people don't celebrate their 10,000th DAY. Allowing for variations due to leap years (and not counting time in the womb!) it falls at some point in the 5th month after your 27th birthday.

 

That's probably cuz people don't keep track of how old they are in days, but years.

 

Imagine someone saying, "I'm 10,000 days old today!". Ya'd think, "Damn, yer old!".

I'm not going to congratulate you because I don’t find the “occasion” merits it. But I’d like to thank you for your posts. They’ve been, for the most part, insightful and amusing. I’ve truly enjoyed them.

 

I celebrated my gigasecond not too long ago. People thought I was odd. :bugeye:

 

Frankly, I don't have a problem with that. I'm not sure if the fact that it took five years to reach this post count is a comfort or not. On the one hand, it doesn't seem nearly as dependent as the relationship probably is; to the other, I've spent five f@cking years here.
