    I want to try it with Blavod - that would look cool.
    I never drink it anyway, and it just sits in my freezer.

    I wonder if it would work with a desert wine - I'm thinking Strawberry.

    The trick is just what you said: osmosis.

    The peel is very permeable and the fruit has no hard core and also contains no alcohol. The very nature of things is for the solution of alcohol to try to equalize (even out) throughout anything placed in it.
