    And we haven't done so.

We aren't occupying either Iraq or Afganistan and we certainly haven't bombed the entire country, either Iraq or Afganistan.

Indeed we have spent tons of money rebuilding the damaged infrastructure from the limited war needed to get rid of Saddam and the Taliban and not both countries are being run by their own elected leaders and we haven't taken any of their land or resources as our own.

Oh BS, if you don't agree then explain the article on Iraq.

Clearly the country is managing it's own affairs, it's GDP is growing at very respectable rates each year and the security issue continues to lessen.

Most clearly NOT an occupied country.

Economy Minister Rainer Bruederle said Germany was planning to boost business ties with the country in response to a huge demand for investment, especially in infrastructure.

I need someone to help me play catchup. . .

Are we still debating whether or not it was Bin Laden? Or, are we finally passed that on account of the testimony of his injured wife, his daughter, Al Qaeda itself (that seemed fit to issue a eulogy about the bastard), reporters, evidence found in the compound and the US government.

If we're passed that, then what have all the conspiracy theorists have moved on to?

Nope. They still have doubts. In the eyes of a few Osama still died a long time ago. One will concede that his death by SEAL's is 'probably true'. The Al Qaeda testimony is held under suspicion because well, how do you know if its really Al Qaeda and not some fake Al Qaeda site, some even don't believe there is an Al Qaeda not under US control and so on and so forth (Sam went so far as to find some blog from somewhere that swears SITE is government run). Eso chalked it all up to the zionist, international banker cabal (I was wondering how long everything would come down to the 'zionists') Basically they were scrambling to fill in the holes in their own mind with whatever chewing gum was at hand. No one has yet put forth the Protocols of the Elder's of Zion, alien abduction nor Alex Jones theory that Osama was cryogenically frozen which, you must admit, is a very good sign.

You went there to spend your money just to save the poor Iraqis and Afghanis..? Riiiight. Since when does the USA (or any other country for that matter) invest trillions of bucks without having a minimal gain from it? What was it again? Oh yeah, I thought you invaded Iraq to murder the terrorists who weren't even in that country and in order to do so you trampled over the given governments and civilians with your bombs and made in USA boots, making yourselves look like heroes who came to save the folks there from the evil terrorists. How did you achieve that? By terrorising whole countries you think are not good enough because they do not share your fanatic Christianised moral bullshit. How gallant. How heroic. Chapeau la!

What about all the other countries with dictators as leaders, damaged infrastructures? Won't you invest, pretty please, your remaining bucks in them, too? Invade them, too, bomb them, too, occupy them, too, liquidate their leaders and save the poor beings from there! You have to hold up your image of heroism after all!

Well show me the GAIN that we got from Iraq then.

You obviously don't get it, because the Iraqi majority was being terrorized, by Saddam, and he was terrorizing the entire region. We did minimal damage to get rid of him and then we helped the Iraqi people take control of their country and build their government in a way of their choosing, and it had nothing to do with imposing any fanatic Christian set of morals on them, indeed if you bothered to look at the Iraqi Constitution you would see that while it guarantees freedom of religion it specifically calls out Islam as the State religion.

    http://www.uniraq.org/documents/iraqi_constitution.pdf

And that one document proves that your assertions are vapid.

See Arab Spring and how change can be made by giving people in the region the idea that they too can control their destiny.

On fake video's, don't you think the technology that exists nowadays would of allowed for a completely CGI created OBL to have been created rather than using a poor lookalike?

After all Hollywood's been creating special effects for years and I doubt any government agency would go with a poor lookalike if they wanted to convince people of something. That's why your statements don't ring true.

You're thinking like a technician, not a bureaucrat.

Tell me do you think Quantico is so poorly equipped that the FBI needs to search for bin Laden lookalikes on Google images?

So why do they do it?

Gaspar Llamazares, Spaniard Used In Bin Laden Picture, Rejects US Apology

It is something about the way Americans think - which is why the whole WMDs in Iraq was so sloppy. Why take trouble when there is no accountability?

Also in a way it is a form of protection. The more sophisticated the technology used, the more individual the signature. Do they really want to involve experts who can be called on to testify against them?

Also don't take my word for it. Look at all the non-US sources that have assessed the audio and videotapes [the Swiss for instance] - they are objective and have no axe to grind

    See for example:

nirakar has also provided an exhaustive review of the single source from which most of these audio and videotapes originate, sometimes even before they have been posted by al Qaeda

Total BS review trying to discredit the message because of who does the translation.

Using David Ray Griffin, a former theology professor and member of the 9/11 Truth Movement as your source for truth is hilarious.

    SITE Institute
Rita Katz folds S.I.T.E. Institute and opens SITE Intelligence Group. Can another Bin Laden tape be in the making?

I would prefer my position not be truncated and warped by SNOW. Certain members of the armed forces in America have prevented extremely horrible things from happening in the past decade. These stories have been covered in Veterans Today. It is these patriotic men and women whom I trust, both conservative and liberal, that are fighting the forces of the globalists. They are aware of the subversion of the US by intelligence agencies and their work with the Mossad and the international banksters.

Gordon Duff is a good journalist, somebody who digs for facts, remains aloof and skeptical, but does a good job of putting pieces together. I'll go with his take on the whole situation for now. . .
PRESIDENT OBAMA ANNOUNCES: BIN LADEN STILL DEAD
If SNOW wants to summarize, let her read something.

I wouldn't be surprised if OBL knew about all the asbestos that was to be kicked up in the air which would doom all the first responders to a slow death in the aftermath of the clean up. Reading his statements are eerie. I can see why the U.S. government wouldn't want the American people to know this stuff. Makes him look like a martyr, not a villain.

Cryogenically Frozen. Yes, of course. That's the explanation. Why they can't show any pictures.
They put Osama's super chilled body in the compound. Then they came back later to "find" him. The perfect plan it seemed, but it had a fatal flaw.
When they shot him, his body, frozen at -238 degrees Fahrenheit, smashed into a million pieces.

You have all these people here watching something in the Situation Room.

Why does the press not ask them what they saw?

Quite possible. Those security tapes at the WH must be good for something

    Story so far:

    1) There was a firefight.
    2) There was no firefight.
    3) Bin Laden was “resisting.”
    4) Bin Laden wasn’t armed. (Makes the concept of “resisting” interesting.)
[4.a) And the newest one: the SEALS thought bin Laden was reaching for a weapon.]
    5) He used his wife as a shield.
    6) His wife was killed too.
    7) He didn’t use his wife as a shield. She ran at a SEAL who shot her in the leg, but she’s fine.
8 ) Some other woman — the maid? — was used as a shield. By somebody. Downstairs.
    9) That other woman — downstairs — was killed.
    10) Maybe not. She was killed unless she wasn’t — and who was she, anyway?
    11) Bin Laden’s son was killed.
    12) Unless it was some other guy.
    13) Bin Laden’s daughter saw him get killed. She’s undoubtedly traumatized, poor dear.
    14) They were going to capture Bin Laden until the problem with the helicopter, which was:

    A) It had mechanical trouble
    B) It did a hard landing
    C) It crashed
    D) It clipped a wall with a tail rotor, effectively a crash

15.) They were never going to try to capture him; it was always a kill mission.
    16.) No, it wasn’t.
    17) The chopper blew up.
    18) The SEALs blew it up.
19.) Panetta said yesterday the world needed proof and the photo would be released.
20.) Obama said today in an interview he taped with Steve Kroft for “60 Minutes” to be broadcast Sunday that it won’t be released. It’s too gruesome, would offend Muslim sensibilities (something he worries about a lot — I personally do not give a warm fart on a wet Wednesday about Muslim sensibilities), and how would Americans feel if Muslims released pictures of dead Americans?
21.) Kroft — who’s not a total idiot — pointed out that ever since “Black Hawk Down” days, Muslims have been doing precisely that, filming American bodies being dragged through the streets, filming Daniel Pearl’s head being cut off, filming any and everything.
    22) Obama gets pissed at CBS, the tape gets cleaned up, that question disappears. (Inside info.)
23.) We got a “treasure trove” of stuff from hard drives, etc.
24.) There were no phone lines, and no internet access at the “mansion,” they didn’t even have TV — what “treasure trove?”
25.) There is obviously in the pictures of the place a large satellite dish. I guess they used it for making salads.
26.) And now, just today: apparently the idea was to capture him, but only if he was naked. There was a suspicion he might be wearing a suicide bomber type explosive vest, or belt. So if he’s not naked and you can’t see if he has a vest on or not – shoot him.

    source

And one more thrown in just for Ripley's Believe it or not

Okay just one teeny one more:

And that I think is all there is to it.

On this upbeat note, I think, we can all close this chapter.
