    The government has already lost its credibility. I'd rather have a government with no credibility or power than one with no credibility, but lots of power.

    What you will have is everything you hate about the government now, but worse, as the people fighting for power will have no legal or ethical incentive to follow the rules. Like I said, the only ones to survive a situation like this will be the ones you need the least.
