    Green Slime. Hilarious. A must-see.
Godzilla (the original one, "Gojira", 1954). Not the caricature of later years.
    Gamera (1965).
Invasion of the Saucer Men (1957).
    Tarantula.
    Omega Man.

Many good ones already mentioned. Btw, I can't believe that the rental copy of the original Planet of the Apes has the ending scene as the cover art. There might still be three or four people left who don't know.

A few I remember from my youth.

Cyborg 2087 - A 1966 film starring Michael Rennie of The Day the Earth Stood Still. Personally I like Cyborg better
    Robinson Crusoe on Mars
    Crack in the World
When Worlds Collide (Also was a book, and a sequel book After Worlds Collide)

Why do you join our forum and then resurrect a thread that has been dead for -two years-?

That is very rude. Thread necromancy is crap.

Try not to be so offended Bruceallen. Prince James, along with many others, simply don't like to see threads repeated over, and over, and over. In my short time here, I as well have seen many threads covering the exact same thing. When you are searching for new topics of conversation on sciforums, it can be very frustrating to see four people have posted the same exact thread in multiple areas, some of which at times, are in the wrong area of the website itself.

The comment was not meant to insult you, relax. =D(On a side note, Prince James is a good guy, he doesn't intentionally insult people)

    Looking for a movie name

Looking for the name of a really old movie and you guys look like you know them.

B&W (i think - looked like this vintage). last seen 30 years ago on TV but only saw a little bit.

Involved one person(?) looking for others....he has a mechanical type hand and is searching for items the other men have. These turn out to be "modules" that he plugs into his hand like fingers that do something????
Thats it not much I know but I have no idea and I would love to watch the whole thing one day!

I have a problem with any sci-fi movie where the woman faints or for some reason needs to be slapped because she is hysterical. And when she gets slapped she apologizes or says thank you. WTHell is up with that??

i,m not sure this is the right place for this question but i have been trying to find out the name of a film i saw a little of many years ago.it has to do with an astronaught finding an old alien city and walking into a hall filled on both sides with some sort of transparent cocoons, when he touches one it releases the spirit of the dead alien and you see it flying down corridor after corridor of cocoons and thats all i saw..it was a b/w and pretty old

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Iirc, it was a episode of either the old "Twilight Zone" or the old "Outer Limits" tv series. Outer Limits I think. Anyway, if you want to know what I remember of the plot and the ending (it takes a real strange twist) let me know.
