I don't see any reason to believe in God. Everything we have experienced as humans can be scientifically explained, or if it can't, it will be (this is what I have inductively inferred). There is zero evidence for God either existing or not existing. So what is the point of believing in God? Why have faith? What is the point of believing in God, when there is no reason to? Does God make life better and if so, how? Will I feel more fulfilled? Suppose I attempt to have faith; how do I shake the feeling that I am just living a lie, made up by humans (other animals didn't write the Bible, did they?)?

Note that I am specifically referring to the Christian God. Cris, I hope you will make a post in here (apologies in advance if these are redundant questions =]).
