Actually, I can't remember closing that thread. Maybe it wasn't me. Or, maybe it was and I can't remember why. Probably it was due to the squabbling going on.

Anyway, to give it the benefit of the doubt, I've left the current thread open, despite Anomalous's spamming.

    Anomalous/Wounded Iraqi Muslim:

Yes, it is. As are most forums on the internet, I think you'll find. Site owners and moderators have a right to moderate content.

That has nothing to do with it. Break the forum rules, and your thread might be closed. Post racist comments, or obscenities, or other offensive material, which you agreed not to post when you signed up, and your thread might be closed.

But in your specific case, you decided you would spam the forums with posts. In fact, see the first post of the current thread. Even you must be bright enough to know that spamming will not be tolerated. I am not going to chase you around cleaning up your mess; you're not worth the effort.

Also, you may not be aware, but there is a new policy in place that people who come back as sock puppets during a temporary ban will, from now on, have their original accounts permanently banned.

I have just reviewed the posts you made under the name "Wounded Iraqi Muslim".

That name is obviously offensive and misleading, since you are neither wounded, Iraqi or Muslim. And you have used it almost exclusively to make fun of the religion of Islam.

But, more to the point, you were banned yesterday for spamming more than 20 threads with a link to this current thread. I am sure it would have been many more, had I not caught you at it and stopped you.

A temporary ban aims for the member who has infringed the rules to go away from the forum for a while, take some time out and think about their actions. It is then hoped that they will return with a modified attitude.

Immediately following your temporary banning, what did you do? You chose to create a sock puppet and immediately post another 66 posts, practically all of them insulting either other users or a religion.

You have had ample warnings by personal messaging and on the forum itself. You have previously been banned for a period of 7 days. Even then, you returned with sock puppets during your ban.

Since you display no ability to learn, and no inclination to abide by the rules of this forum, you are no longer wanted here.

I have upgraded your ban to a permanent ban.

I hope you will learn from this experience and apply it constructively in your activities on other internet forums.

Well anyway, India’s nuclear weapons program is supported because India stands a good chance of peacefully, and willingly, integrating into the international institutions that the USA/Europe/Japan have setup and implicated since WWII - to ensure their mutual power and influence. And has a LOT to OFFER the international community in return.

At present Russia and China have both forgone trying to create a parallel system and are also looking to join and exploit the current system of international power brokerage. Think of them when you think of Iran.

As to Pakistan, it does have a growing economy based around labor, but they can in no way compete with India and China both terms of raw labor and soon to be educated populous. Pakistan is also stuck with the very old-fashioned idea that Religious Law should be used to rule the people. While that system had a place 5000 years ago it’s been superseded in countries with educated populous. That Pakistan STILL uses this antiquated system is a telltale sign that Pakistan isn’t setting itself up for longer-term success. As such, Pakistan is not given the amount of attention due India. The best I can see Pakistan doing is becoming the labor pool for the Atheistic Chinese in the future.

Back to Iran. Iran gets some attention because it is an OIL resource rich country (well since they plundered the Kurds for their oil resources in the North East). Similar to the communists of the last century they are proposing a new international system. And while they would love that to include Islam they will settle with changing some of the petrol-dollars into Euros. Well expect a negative response by America.

THAT has nothing to do with the Religion Islam. For all the USA could care Iran could be communist or spaghetti-bolognaise-ish!

And a comment on my last post in the locked thread is fine too

My ancestors converted to Islam of their own free will. As a matter of fact, we were persecuted by Hindus and my family which was a royal family of Rajput and lost their belongings and we forced to leave our home because of hatred and prejudice against us. We were made from high caste to low caste, and treated horribly. This goes for many people of the region, not only Muslims but Dalits as well who were the oppressed native dark people and Indian Christians.

If you know anything about Pakistan, you would see the beauty and magnificience of our culture which is very, very similar to Indian culture because the modern culture of India was made by the Muslim Mongol kings like Sultan Babar, Aurangzeb, Shah Jahan, etc. The difference is only our love for our religion and the mighty principles of Islam. Hence, the abloishment of Indian caste system and idol worship in our culture. Hazrat Muhammad bin Qasim conquered only Sindh, which he had a dispute with the Raja for its sea pirates who robbed Muslim boats.

You would be right if infact you believed that Islam and Muslims are inherently violent, but you are completely wrong. Islam won by hearts and minds, not the swords. The fact that India is still majority Hindu is a testiment to the fair treatment and plurality of the Muslim kings. You talk of culture and civilization, it was the Muslims who united the disunited Indian subcontinent, Muslims who built the great mosques and shrines like the Taj Mahal. What more do you say that this a proof of culture?

You misunderstood completely. I meant the Muslim sultans were the ones to unify all of India into one body and bring all the cultures together. Muslims are the first to use the word Hindu to refer to the people as one religion, they infact thought of themselves as having different religions prior to this. The Pakistani culture is based highly on the enlightened age brought by the Muslim sultanates, it is always refered in text books as the golden age of India.

You misunderstood, I didn't say that we are strong to show any superiority to anyone. I meant to reply to the post of one of the posters who said Pakistanis are disunited. Nuclear weapons are bad, but if India got them, we had to as well, otherwise India would have destroyed Pakistan by now. And then you would witness a real massacre and genocide like that in Indian regions of Gujarat and Kashmir on a population of 160 million in Pakistan.

The Japanese were forced to surrender on the demands of the Americans. This is hardly fair, Japan has no real relevance in today's politics. Their weakness and servitude is a direct result of defeat by America.

The Buddhist statues issue was not about insulting Buddhism. It was about the Scandinavian foreignors in Afghanistan who funded millions of dollars to rebuild stone statues, while spending nothing on the populace. The Taliban asked them why didn't they help people and spend on poor people if they love Afghani culture rather than spend money fixing some stone statues that dont help anyone. Their point was valid, but when the foreignors disagreed, the Taliban exploded the statues in response to show the importance of people over states. Also many Buddhists weren't offended because Buddha said himself not to make an image of him after he dies. We had this talk before. Many Muslims respect Buddha and believe he was a righteous man.

Truth is hardly that clear, especially coming from a Westerner. Most Indians themselves will agree that Pakistanis share an almost mirror culture to them. What are you trying to prove?

Pakistan holds many ancient monuments. The city of Lahore is 3000 years old. Harappa and Mohen Jaro are in Pakistan. We have a culture and a heritage, we just happened to embrace Islam. Britian also made India, as well as Pakistan, but only after both sides demanded their rights. The religion of Adam and Eve is the oldest religion. That religion Muslims believe it to be Islam.

Pakistan built nuclear weapons from their own efforts, we have a highly structured army, we are the gateway to the MiddleEast, Central Asia, and South Asia. We are a rival state to India prevent the defeat of the freedom movements of Tamils, and Kashmiris. We are the only nation which prevents Indian dominace and control of the other small nations in South Asia who are at odds with India like Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. We are a nation which protects and patrons the rights of mistreated minorities in India like Muslims, Christians, and Dalits. Pakistan is a poor country, but we are honest and loving. We are a 160 million people nation which withstood attack from a nation ten times our size and still retained our strength. We have great diplomatic ties with China, Iran, the Central Asian nations, Turkey, African Muslim nations, Arab nations, and the Malayu nations. We sent one of the biggest peacekeeping missions to Bosnia and Kosovo, and fought hard for their rights. We are the second most populous Muslim nation, the fifth largest in populationwise in the world. Pakistan is strategic to world security and checking the balance of Asia to bring down the probability of war. Pakistan was the first main nation which brought America and China together since the Communist revolution. Pakistan was partly responsible for the defeat of the USSR. We want to agree on a joint signing of the NPT treaty, reducing of arms with India, and also more peace initiatives between India and Pakistan, as well as a UN organized plebiscite vote in Kashmir to end tensions between the two countries. India however does not agree with us, nor does it follow up our goodwill gestures.

Pakistan is one of the most important and vital nations in the world which has always been a uniting factor int he world.

Are you trying to tell me that the Arab and then Persian/Turk Muslims didn’t decimate the Hindus in over 600 years of war?
I wonder why this historian says brutality?
Lets get the actual words recorded by Muslim Historians shall we?

Mahmud Begrha became the Sultan of Gujarat in 1458 AD. One of his vassals was the Mandalika of Junagadh who had never withheld the regular tribute. Yet in 1469 AD Mahmud invaded Junagadh. In reply to the Mandalika's protests, Mahmud said that he was not interested in money as much as in the spread of Islam. The Mandalika was forcibly converted to Islam and Junagadh was renamed Mustafabad. In 1472 AD Mahmud attacked Dwarka, destroyed the local temples, and plundered the city. Raja Jaya Singh, the ruler of Champaner, and his minister were murdered by Mahmud in cold blood for refusing to embrace Islam after they had been defeated and their country pillaged and plundered. Champaner was renamed Mahmudabad.

Mahmud Khalji of Malwa (1436-69 AD) also destroyed Hindu temples and built mosques on their sites. He heaped many more insults on the Hindus. Ilyas Shah of Bengal (1339-1379 AD) invaded Nepal and destroyed the temple of Svayambhunath at Kathmandu. He also invaded Orissa, demolished many temples, and plundered many places. The Bahmani sultans of Gulbarga and Bidar considered it meritorious to kill a hundred thousand Hindu men, women, and children every year. They demolished and desecrated temples all over South India.

The climax came during the invasion of Timur in 1399 AD. He starts by quoting the Quran in his Tuzk-i-Timuri:

To start with he stormed the fort of Kator on the border of Kashmir. He ordered his soldiers "to kill all the men, to make prisoners of women and children, and to plunder and lay waste all their property". Next, he "directed towers to be built on the mountain of the skulls of those obstinate unbelievers". Soon after, he laid siege to Bhatnir defended by Rajputs. They surrendered after some fight, and were pardoned. But Islam did not bind Timur to keep his word given to the "unbelievers". His Tuzk-i-Timuri records:

At Sarsuti, the next city to be sacked, "all these infidel Hindus were slain, their wives and children were made prisoners and their property and goods became the spoil of the victors". Timur was now moving through (modern day) Haryana, the land of the Jats. He directed his soldiers to "plunder and destroy and kill every one whom they met". And so the soldiers "plundered every village, killed the men, and carried a number of Hindu prisoners, both male and female".

Loni which was captured before he arrived at Delhi was predominantly a Hindu town. But some Muslim inhabitants were also taken prisoners. Timur ordered that "the Musulman prisoners should be separated and saved, but the infidels should all be dispatched to hell with the proselytizing sword".
By now Timur had captured 100,000 Hindus. As he prepared for battle against the Tughlaq army after crossing the Yamuna, his Amirs advised him "that on the great day of battle these 100,000 prisoners could not be left with the baggage, and that it would be entirely opposed to the rules of war to set these idolators and enemies of Islam at liberty". Therefore, "no other course remained but that of making them all food for the sword".

    Tuzk-i-Timuri continues:

The Tughlaq army was defeated in the battle that ensued next day. Timur entered Delhi and learnt that a "great number of Hindus with their wives and children, and goods and valuables, had come into the city from all the country round".

He directed his soldiers to seize these Hindus and their property. Tuzk-i-Timuri concludes:

So this is how We Muslims Ruled India for 1000 years came about huh? Yeah, just great. The truth is DiamondHearts, no conquered peoples are happy to convert their religions. Sure, maybe people worshiping trees and walking around square rocks, but certainly not people of 5000 year old civilizations. You are Muslim because your forefathers lost in a series of brutal wars fought for centuries. If not you’d be Buddhist or Hindu.

When you mentioned that your forefathers were lower on the caste system, I thought this was ironic, as that caste system was set up as part of religion and in many Islamic countries non-Muslims are of a lower, if not outlawed, status! Also look at the life the leaders in Islam lead! Look at the hundreds of thousands of poor Muslims in Pakistan! If you don`t get it then I don`t see how you ever will. I suppose that is the power of religion.

I’m not sure if you can even appreciate that? The irony?

    Maybe not?

    Here you go.

Tell me DiamondHearts, from all of your knowledge and insight you have gained by being a Muslim and reading the Qur`an; What is one enlightened idea that you have gained by being a Muslim?

Some insight into humanity, that hasn’t been expressed a thousand years before by a thousand religions before?

    Anything unique?

Or are you just parroting what your parents taught you to think because that’s what their parents taught them to think because some Arabs realized religion can be used to conquer India for its resources and riches?

This is an INDIAN website, what are you talking about. This is pure propaganda against Pakistan and the Islamic rule of the mughals.

Your entire list of quotation is completely fradulent. This was taken from Hindu extremist propaganda spreading to weaken the influence and honor of Muslim rule of India. Did you even bother reading the comments on these articles?

The quotes you presented were copied from the following Hindu websites:

You are a fool who knows nothing of the history of India or the history of Pakistan. You have no right to tell me about my history.

Have you even visited any Muslim country? You are living on medievel notions which have no base in reality?

Yes, Pakistan is poor, and so is India. The two countries have a large gap between rich and poor and both countries have high illeteracy rates and make less than a dollar a day for each individual.

This has nothing to due with religion, infact when the Islamic sultanates of the Mughals ruled India, it was an age of learning, wealth, and prosperity for the people of India. It was the colonial invasion and modern constant inference in Muslim lands and third world countries which interferes with the development of these places.

I have gained knoweldge of Allah (swt) and have experienced the truth and justice of my religion and culture. I have seen the superiority of Islamic values over western values. I have seen the perfect system for living life, and have obtained peace in my subservience to Allah (swt). By learning the Seerah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s), I have read the beauty and magnificience of the most perfect man to have ever lived and a model to all people who desire to learn righteousness.

This same message was preached by all prophets, some of which are, Hazrat Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ismail, Ishaq, David, Solomon, Moses, Jesus and many more (peace be upon them both).

Allah (swt) sent his final prophet Muhammad (s), descendant of Ismail the son of Abraham (peace to them both), to preach the universal message to all of humanity rather than a select group such as the Bani Isra'il (Children of Israel) like the prophets which were the descendants of Ishaq. Islam is the religion which Allah (swt) has ordained as the true religion, which was preached to all prophets and has ordained to protect this religion from change. All prophets had a miracle and the miracle of the Prophet Muhammad (s) is the blessed Quran which is the ultimate guidance for all humanity.

Are you telling me what you have read from some bigots or preachers?

I have studied on my own and have extensive knowledge on this subject. It's my history and I have read on it, so you cannot present fake quotes and extremist propaganda without me realizing what is false and what is real.

And your points are completely false. Why not talk about something you have knowledge of instead of misleading others?

    Allah guide you. Peace.

I bet this decorated square rock could have paid for a few bowls of rice in afganistan? Good thing the Taliban couldn’t get to KSA!!!

Incidentally, square rocks were used to represent Gods all over Arabia for hundreds of years before Islam. Which is just ironic I guess and a little interesting…huh?

Anyway, I was still curious as to Islamic enlightenment? Being a Muslim and having been blessed with accesses to the Qur`an - the very words of Allah, surely you have gained some new insight into the human condition? Some revelation that would have amazed the ancient Hindus and Buddhists ....and enlightened them?

    A personal revelation of sorts?
