this is how I would have done it (although I dont have any issues with teachers) "Hello Mr/Mrs nice to meet you. I am here to talk about my grades and overall about class in general. I feel that there are some issues and would be love to work these out with you, if you could help me please." And than wait and listen and answer politely

smoking is not allowed in school. This is against school educational good moral and Christian values policy. Violence is not permitted and is punishable by death chair or years in prison.

I never smoked in school. We used to get stoned about a block away from the place behind an abandoned house. I still remember when somebody filled the mailbox tacked to the door with shaving cream (I think they were going to "initiate" some poor freshman with it) and for some reason, I thought it would be a peachy keen idea to try setting it on fire with my lighter, forgetting the flammable properties of the propellant. The blob of foam exploded, seemingly in slow motion, (gotta luv "pot perception") and we all had quite the laugh at the weird pyrotechnic display.
