Cheers to you also. Let me say that its a great thing to see musical tastes such as yours, to be so wide and varied. I sort of adhere to that also but sadly my musical tastes seem to ignore much of what was sung and/or recorded after the 80's. I grew up in the era of the beginnings of rock n roll, the Chuck Berry's, the Jerry Lee Lewis', Elvis of course, Ricky Nelson, J'O'K, Col Joye, Barry Stanton etc etc, but I always appreciated the music it sort of superceded such as Deano, Sinatra, King Cole, Johnny Mathis, Teresa Brewer, etc Then I discovered a Greek Angel in 1974...where? Crewing on a three masted barquentine from Panama to Sydney. Someone brought on board a couple of her LP's. Problem was that we were unable to play anything on our record player due to the rocking and rolling of our ship. That is until your's truly, fixed four springs on the bottom of each corner, placed it on a cushion in a box and voila! Bob's your uncle!!! Worked great except in really heavy weather. Unlike the diva's around today, my Greek Angel had no need to take off here gear to impress or sell records. She is right up there in the biggest sales along with Madonna and company...around 300 million or so.
