Molly Fide and the Parsona Rescue

Molly Fide is a modern day Pauline Peril

But that doesn't do the character justice. It's just what I thought as I powered through the first two novels and made short work of a majority of the third. She's female and what could happen does happen. But that's about all to connect her to the feminine protagonist of railroad track and Snidely Whiplash (at least in my memory) fame. This space pilot is about as forward moving a plot device as they get. She gets into one scrape after another, each seemingly more impossible than the last. But somehow she and her cohorts pull through. I'm into it. Hugh Howey has done it again with this series.

Wow, thanks. And talk about the resurrection of an old thread! Man, that was back before I'd published my first book. Ah, the memories. :)
