No one is compelled to be here. It is all voluntary. This is not our livelihood, job, or education. People act as if some tragic crime against humanity has been committed by the mods when they ban someone or call someone out on their bullshit. If someone is acting out, I think the mods are in the right to point it out! If that means telling someone they are being an asshole when their being an asshole, or a puppy dog when their acting like a puppy dog, then so be it. I've never had a problem with the mods here. Granted, I don't post much. I did get a warning once for saying that a member should be slapped. I was fine with the consequences that James gave me.

As cold as this sounds, I don't give much of a shit about anyone here. I've never met anyone. There's only a few people here who I would miss if they left or got perma banned. And even those few being gone would not have any sort of impact on my life whatsoever. Anyone who takes this site, or what goes on here seriously has a major problem. I can't comprehend someone who would get angry, hurt, or in any way upset about what someone says or does here.

That's probably because you have difficulty distinguishing between fantasy and reality. In time you may grow out of this.

 

Quite the opposite. Anyone who would come here and get upset about things and take this place and what goes on here seriously obviously has mental health problems. The only people who can hurt me are the people in my life that I love and care about. What do I care what a group of people on the internet, who I will never meet, think or say about me? Anyone who would get hurt or upset about something done here must really consider this place part of their reality.

Do you really consider it a sign of mental health to let this place get to you?

Do a google search for "internet addiction", or "forum addiction". God knows we have some people here who are obviously sick. I won't mention any names.
