Minor thing but potentially misleading

I noticed that when you add a link to a phrase in a post, the color of the link isn't well-distinguished from the color of ordinary text; text is black, and the link text is very dark grey. This could lead the unwary to fail to note that there is a link in a post that they should follow for more information.

Traditionally links are blue until followed and then purple. I don't advocate tradition, and I expect you wouldn't follow it if I did; I just note it for information's sake.

I have had similar trouble. Text links are virtually invisible until one inadvertently rolls over them.

More than once have I been accused of not reading a reference someone has sent me - though it was because I never saw it.

Unfortunately, this seems to be a "feature" of the new forum software. It has been suggested before to have it changed but... well, you can see how far that idea has been taken *sigh*

It's a pretty simple change. If they were of a mind, I could show them a super easy way to do it.
In fact, it's likely settable in the admin dashboard of the site. If not, a single line added to a CSS file will fix it.
