That strikes me as a stupid reason to get rid of the member list. Whoever removed it, bring it back. It makes it much easier to find a member and PM them when you can't find them around the forum. And yes, I had this problem recently.

Now, tell me that apart from most of the posts in this thread being about Outlandish's banning, how, what the other few are doing is not simply whining? Or d'you think you've got Pseud0 by the balls because you mentioned that you might want to PM some obscure poster that you can't find on the daily forums? Yes, very deep and persuasive rhetoric... I don't think.

 

Wasn't there an option in the member list that (by default) hid your email address anyway?

 

just leave that option blank. I don't see why people have such a problem about this. If you don't want spam then don't give your email address out.

your email address is not displayed anywhere on the forum. you do have the option to disable emails from posters in your profile.

 

In that case, the given reasons for disabling the membrs list dont make sense.

 

without a members list it's impossible to search for a certain posters posts unless their name is displayed in the forum.
