Federal prosecutors are charging 31 doctors, seven pharmacists, eight nurse practitioners and seven other licensed medical professionals in connection with alleged opioid pushing and health care fraud. Who gets a slap on the wrist? And who gets prison?

It seems that we all cling to the hope that medical professionals will be diligent in working for their patients' wellbeing and are disappointed when we find that some of them are just money grubbing assholes and drug pushers.
