Dang it!!! He promised me his Ernest Bourgnine blow up doll! I seriously hope spud was kidding...Spud's my bud.

I personally think trolls are the spice of life of SF. While it is occasionally necessary to reign things in... this place would be boring without them.

Can I hold your stuff, Bells? What are you going to do with Spud's stuff? I hope you wash it first.

    1) if liberal dreams are without any connection to the realities of the world, then there is nothing to worry about.
    2) don't you think it is a good thing when not all the things politicians believe in, legislate and speak in favor of are in alignment with your beliefs?

You really should get some help with your fixation. It has to be unhealthy.

Preaching hatred and the murder of countless innocents should get one banned. I don't care if you find that funny. More than 100,000 innocent people have been killed in Afghanistan and Iraq because of the effects of this type of mass hysteria and fear-mongering. I'm sure some people found the gassing of Jews by Hitler funny, does that make it acceptable?

These posters need to be held to the same standard as everyone else.

I hadn't voted on this poll because it's a stalking horse.
But I'll vote now and I'll vote for mass bannings, despite them being ridiculous.
    A protest vote.
I advise other people to do the same.
Let's see where this thing runs to.

This thread should never have been opened and it needs closing.

Listen to what people are saying.
You need to ditch this three strikes and you are out rule.
    It is leading to mediocrity.

    I'll just repeat James comment:

I've disagreed with James in the past, over whether 9/11 conspiracies should all be lumped together or not. He prefers dismissing the conspiracies and ignoring the request to allow the various 9/11 conspiracy theories to each have their own thread, preferably in a newly minted conspiracy forum.

However, I don't envy his position. I think what he's making clear is that if people are so gung ho on the idea of others getting banned, he may accomodate to some extent, if only so that he could get some peace and quiet for a bit. The fabled peace and quiet might not occur, but atleast others could share in the blame if x or y's friend was banned.

I admit that I've only been here a little over 2 months and in that time, I've mainly stuck to the (in my view) unfairly labelled 'pseudoscience' forum, in the only allowable thread concerning 9/11 in this place (again, in my view, unfairly). But it's one thing to be confined to some enormous 'mighty tangle' of a thread if you want to discuss thing; it's quite another to be banned simply because the moderator disagrees with your point of view.

I've always been controversial but my insults are rather tame; I believe my worst one might have been calling an admin an 'ogre' in a role playing game.. it -was- a role playing game and she was acting might ogre like

. I was removed from that forum, however. And I've been removed from others for less. Here, I may be confined in one 'mighty tangle' of a thread, but atleast I can speak in it. In case anyone's wondering, the reason I spend so much time here instead of migrating to a '9/11 was an inside job' type of forum is because there are so many more people to debate here then in such forums.

No, he doesn't. He is fallaciously assigning his own paranoia to other events.

He IS the bigot as is the group he defends. I am intolerant of his groups bigotry.

typical bigot behavior on your part. Trying to excuse or justify your bigotry. Try not being an intolerant fool.
