    LOCHNESS

I have seen the loch a few times and it is quite a sight, the water is dark and cold, and you can almost feel something looking at you,if you let your mind wander, and it is a nerve racking feeling, if you row out on the loch it gets even worse, you can not stop thinking about if there is a monster in there some where.

i saw on t.v that it was estimated how much calories such a monster will need and that the lake does not hold that much fish to support such a monster or a family of it.

    lochness conected

Maybe that is true radical, but i also have read that the loch is connected to the see and just maybe the loch is where the monster comes to spawn, or rest for a certain amount of time.

I'm going to mention something here that could possibly end the myth of the Loch ness Monster (Of course even if it does end the myth, Still visit Loch Ness and other locations within Scotland and the rest of Great Britain, as the people are nice even if the myths aren't)

In a period were britain was being changed through invaders attacking and people settling, There were alot of changes.
it was known for vikings to sail ships down rivers inland to loot, plunder or just trade with villages and other citidels that existed along it's banks. The ships they used were actually called Viking longboats.

    That's a picture of a longboat.

Of course since these people were invaders, they might have nighttimes moored in the centre of lakes and loch's inland so as not to be attacked by the locals, at least not without knowing about it first. This makes also an attack difficult, especially because numbers would be heard to easily.

A collage that shows the outlining shape against a dark background.
This image neglects to add mist around the boat.

For years there would have been mentions of Dragons, or sea serpants, and the death and destruction they might have caused. Of course slowly the vikings are removed from the story as they no longer bear the relevance they once did, and grandfather to child would pass the story of seeing a creature lurking in the mists.

In present times people are searching for a creature, but in fact they should be searching for clues as to viking raids, castles being created to fend off raiders, and possibly artifacts that might have elluded us previously. There are actually tales of Viking gold at the bottom of the Ness.

I also realised that the Edwardians during the 19th century use to enjoy palour games, this also entailed doing things that were magic (that were just tricks and illusions) and making up ghost stories to scare one another. Which means the myth of the Nessy was probably re-established, and later made into what we take for granted now.

    lochness or myth

Myth or no myth would'nt it be great to really find something in the loch, as the loch is a wonderes place to see, and i do beleave that there might be something in the loch at certain times of the year. maybe not every year they come back every once in a while, but to keep hunting it is wrong, let it live in peace if it does exist. if it has lived this long then it does not need mans involvment, lets stay out of it this time.

You can rank Nessy up there with good ol' Big Foot as an absent anomaly.

It's a wonder why, with our technology, we haven't captured either one of them yet. Then again, with our liying government we're talking about, they're probably making a tuna fish sandwhich out of Loch Ness in Area 51, as we speak...
