Some people while growing up are not allowed to express certain emotions. For example it might have not been possible to express anger.

These indivduals then grow up and express the emotions that would normally have been expressed as anger in diff forms. So people may turn to food or lack of food as a subsitue for these emotions and an eating disorder may develop.

My question is how do you learn these missing emotions?

    Can we learn emotions?

Or do we all have the full range of emotions and it is only the expression of the emotions that may vary?
