    i can buy a laptop for that. We don't do rebates in europe.

    Anyway. Even if I have a desktop in every place. i would also then need an internet connection in every place to use the storage place on the internet. There is no point in having a slow connection, so here in finland that would mean I would have to spend 50 Euro a month per connection for each desktop.

    Needless to say that for 3 places I would need 3 desktops. (1500$) or so by your calculation. Plus i have the expense of 150 Euro PER MONTH to support the internet storage idea.

    That would be 1800 Euro per year + 1500 for the 3 desktops makes 3300. My top of the line laptop was 1500 euro. I guess i need one internet connection (well at the moment I'm leeching on the university network). add 600 euro.
