Thanks, I knew they had been around for a very long time in essentially their current form, but had forgotten how long.

From their POV, humans were just an annoying nuisance that slightly troubled them for a tiny fraction (<< 1%) of their existence, especially the Asian humans who were prone to cooking and eating them.

I watched a show that mentioned them the other night. The show said that roaches cannot live in cold weather but i dont know the tekperature.

It did say that some would go underground to wait cold out.

Im say everything has a purpose even Rats and Roaches. With out them the ECO system would likely colaspe and then there would be an end to life as we know it.
