Now Im no law major, and frankly I didnt think that I would ever enjoy reading fiction books based on law, such as Grisham tends to do. BUT I have found that I do enjoy his books. What are your opinions on his books, and does anyone know if he uses actual cases in his books?
The Firm was a page-turner but I still thought it a so-so book. His writing improved greatly after that. The Chamber is one of the best fiction books I’ve read. He’d be a fool to use actual cases/names for liability reasons. But The Chamber is obviously loosely based on the Birmingham church bombing circa 1963.
