Even further I would say that it comes down to the electrical signals that your brain receives from your body, but it is also interesting that the brain of course, sends signals to your body. Strangely and amazingly telephone communication.

Does this fall into the category of rambling?

This world is "real", because "real" is defined based on what this world is. If you're saying that this world might be "imaginary" because it's fabricated as in The Matrix, and there is another "real" world in which we actually reside, you are arguing that there might be a world that is more like this world than this world is.

Let's say you did experience something like in The Matrix, and woke up into some other existence where this world was only fabricated. Would that world be any more "real" than this one is? Would there be any way of proving that there is no world more "real" than that one, that the world you wake into is not yet another Matrix? In any "real" world you would always have ignorance of how real it actually is, and in that way this world is maximally "real".

This existence/world is "real" because "real" is what this existence/world is. You could argue that another reality has a possibility of existing, but to say that one does based on this, to appeal to ignorance, is unfounded and unscientific. It is also unnecessary.

There was one really, really awesome quote by someone or other, it was on this list of scientific quotes I stumbled on. It went somewhere along the lines of that some people argue that everything is only perception, but the speaker argued that we can model things mathematically, and, for example, have an automated system record initial states and determine probable outcomes mechanically without any human observation. He said that these mathematical systems have an existence in themselves that is entirely independent of our perception. Does anyone recall this quote or who said it?
