what does it matter? The series sucks now anyway. I heard they were making another movie with mulder and scully, though. Now the episodes just seem like nothing but people talking about moderately interesting topics, there's no more terror or mystery or intrigue, just talking. The first few episodes with 'Dogget' were alright but everything just went downhill from there.
Last Season for X-Files? ltcmmdr asks, "Does anybody know if this is the last season for The X-Files for sure?" It is indeed the last season. The final episode will air in May. The second X-Files movie is still a go. The show never recovered from the departure of David Duchovny. Audience numbers have continued to drop each season.
