This is a misrepresentation of the True Word. The author was referring to the teaching in the Churches of that time and does not represent the True Word of God. You should always take into account the culture of the time and not confuse it with the True Word of God. You can easily identify the True Word. Does it show God in a good light or not?

I assume you mock because you don't understand the truth and how to read it.

I told you I found God I'm there and I was serious ...it turned out to be the Sun.
And I found another re 9 other Gods with similar stories to JC it seems it was not an original gig.

Back in Sydney are you happy for me.

Sir you do me an injustice
I am schooled in all 2,492 true words of god and further in the 10,000+ words which were considered true but found to be false
If you care to send me your copy of the true words (ie the same set you intend to send Alex) I will put your words to our research team and put forward a motion, if your list is good enough, the team might consider sending you a invite to join us

Appreciate but I'll put it down as a senior moment or early Al
If it was the creationist one, loved it and while I didn't watch it I did listen to it, the whole hour, as a test run for my new Bluetooth ear plug unit

That sounds very subjective. What people consider "a good light" can change over time. It also tends to vary with a person's political views, their social environment, their cultural upbringing and so on.

Let's say that in the bible it is reported that the Lord said "Display my 10 Commandments in all places of law", or something to that effect. Is that showing God in a good light, or not?

If you're a conservative religious US Republican, you might well agree that putting up the 10 Commandments in courthouses is a good idea. On the other hand, if you're a progressive Democrat who believes in separation of church and state then chances are you're not going to be so keen on the idea.

How are we supposed to know if God favours the conservative religious Republicans, or the progressive religious Democrats?

It seems like a silly thing to put up the 10 commandments, since the first 3 commandments would violate the US constitution, and of the next 7 only 3 are illegal in federal law (and they are against the law in every country) and 1 is only illegal in some states (adultery).
