is there a difference between the monkey and ape?, are monkey a "lower" form of primate?

drop religion all together, belive in what the mirror shows you

edit: well wiki says they are different, never thougth of that but it seems obervios now.

My mirror shows me I am an ape, not a monkey. Monkeys have tails. I don't.
