I've recently heard about this game that will be released in 2016: http://astroneer.space/ It has a similar concept to Minecraft, but Astroneer is about terraforming and building a civilization is space. While I'm not a huge fan of Minecraft, this one looks promising and potentially bigger than Minecraft.
