It seems that earthlink is an interesting relatively new internet providor,, is it safe and reliable. Is fios really practical,it didn't seem too invasive, I like verizon internet. Earthlink internet is a bit more tedious,yet somewhat functions well.
Earthlink is FAR from being new! It first went into service in 1994 and hit one million users in 1997. Obviously, it's just new to you. FIOS is a *very* good service but isn't available everywhere by any means. It's pretty well limited to large cities right now. There are several expansion projects underway.

I used to use Earthlink DSL, and it sucked. Now I use clear wireless, and it still sucks but less often.
Anew, what providers do you have to choose from? Pick the one that you can afford that gives you the best upload and download speed that you can afford. Be sure that you can get out of your contract, if there is one, if you buy into a deal with anyone because whoever you choose they might be good in one area but suck in another area of where you live.
