    It means the government does not know . In the fifties and sixties and probably the seventies .

    Now all the documents that FBI or CIA made public , millions of documents , on UFO's , most are redacted .

    Here is the thing , why redact any document on UFO's if these files are inconsequential ? It makes no sense of course .

    So I think the government is slowly giving evidence of UFO's and extraterrestrial life slowly but obviously .

    To see how we handle the information . Will we freak out or go , well we know it is no surprise that ET's have and are here .

    We are being tested ...

    It really means we know but not telling)

    You know, the government is not a big scary monster. The government is made up of ordinary people, with families and that kind of thing. Also, the government is constantly turning over employees. Old ones retire or resign, new ones come in.

    What do you imagine there is - some kind of secret induction process? "Oh, now you're part of The Government, so we can tell you about the aliens. But if you ever tell anybody else, we'll have to kill you!"

    That's my question: Why keep the "real" UFO evidence secret when many people already believe in little green/grey men? Why can't we handle "the truth"? What's the point of the conspiracy?

    If anything, it'd be because it's more convenient to have the nutters and theorists simply believe it's "aliens" for all these things, instead of having to explain away the latest military sci-fi tech project that's born fruit.

    Col. Corso's claim that aliens invented all that stuff has really irked the people who actually invented all that stuff. Given that we have a solid paper trail for the "alien" inventions the logical conclusion is that Corso was a liar.
