Yeah i think you should do that if it pays more, you are probably more likely to get a tip as well. Dont get me wrong though i do tip, but i just dont think you can expect people to.

Sorry , what was I thinking of. I did know someone when working in retail, who was so upset with a customer that he wrote a curse on a piece of paper and put it in the bag with the goods. I mean the witch type curse, not the swearing kind. The customer was very upset, and the chap was given a warning for it.

Bollox! I work from 8.30 to 17.00 and I study full time at uni. So do most of my fellow faculty students over here. You can work in sales with a fluid work graphic (3 days work, 4 don't or smthing like that). In short - get another job. p.s. In Latvia pizza is delivered on company cars or scooters on company fuel and tipping drivers is nonexistent.
Absane, you think maybe since this is a recent trend for you...it might have something to do with the economy in general. People in service industries are the very first to notice when things are about to go to shit.
I never spit in anyone's pizza....but once...there was this SUPER-douchebag on the phone, who pushed just ONE too many of my buttons, and I took the jalapeño pepper container and poured a significant amount of pepper juice all over his pizza....probably wasn't the smartest thing to do.
I suppose it's possible... but that might depend on your major and the availablity of classes. At my school, I have to take whatever math class is offered at whatever time they give. What happens is that I have spend ALL DAY on campus for only 3 classes. At the end, it's time for bed. What's your major? And what school is it?
I go to one class each day, got permission from my boss. Most employers here understand that condition when hiring a student. So I and my friends have made a schedule to which classes we go so that each class is usually visited by someone of us, then we exchange notes and prepare summaries for exams together so that no-one has to do the full ammount of study work. I study law major at the Latvian University.
see, that's the kind of stuff I don't understand. Why lower yourself to that level?? Oh, and I called the pizza place. $1.50 for gas + $2.50 for tip = $4 delivery charge.
