It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts. Here are the facts about the three leading candidates.

Candidate A - Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He's had two Mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B - He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C - He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

Which of these candidates would be your Choice? Make sure you have an answer before looking at the answers!

    Answers
Candidate A: is Franklin D. Roosevelt
    Candidate B: is Winston Churchill
    Candidate C: is Adolph Hitler

Well we aren’t talking about heroic warriors so no, what we are dealing with is crooked politics! To tell you the truth I picked *B* the opium user!

    I wouldn't.
Even if I felt that people should have a leader (which I don't), and didn't believe that electing someone WORLD leader would lead to disgusting levels of corruption and possibly derrangement (which I do) I wouldn't use the above criteria as my sole deciding factors - that would be very superficial.

Besides, if ONLY my vote counts, wouldn't I already BE the world leader?
I think I'll just vote for myself and stay in power.

So you think you can do better huh? Well that’s being rather *superficial*, and not to say opinionated.

I'd vote for myself, assassinate A, B, and C, and conquer everything else.

    Yes! Yes! Yes!
And once you will have conquered everything else, you will be the man to kill to earn e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g! So I agree! Go on!

    Ah, not necisarrilly:
If I order the assassinations in private, and vote for myself, BUT not make it "public", and instead rule behind the curtain, with a figurehead "publicly" named as the ruler...then, I will not be so obviously seen as "ruler of the world".
    Like Bismarck.

Seriously, Ghengis Khan really would make a good world leader if he was still kicking. That is, after he has finished with a bloody world conquest. He generally let conquered lands continue with their religions and ways of life as long as they payed their taxes and didn't try to stir up trouble. He didn't allow infighting, too much abuse of power, or anything that would make enough noise to reach his ears. The guy is still considered a national hero over in Mongolia, the best thing since the domestication of the horse. And rightfully so.

What more could you ask for?

i agree raven. who the hell cares wether the person sleeps with 10000 women\men a year has 10 wives\husbands and drinks 10 standed drinks a day? whats important is how they run the office? it seems only americans are hocked up on this family image thing. The only time i have ever herd about a polly's private life in australia was when the member decided to use parlimentry trips to take her fuck buddy as her partner (at the tax payers expence) apart from that who cares?

But some people, perhaps most people, would call that "character" in a person's make-up. I personally think the "character" is a primary factor in how they view life in general ...which would certainly have an effect on how they worked and how they ran the office. How could it not???

And that's not to say that he/she wouldn't be a good president or government official, but is that the type of "character" that you'd like in office?
