So Government is not supporting Big Business , as a priority ?

Not just now but also in the past .

Probably not as much as you may think... my comment need not take into account a preference for either side more that it seemed to me the Dems were out of touch somehow with what Trump seemed to be picking up on and assumed they would walk it in...they just seemed politically out of tune...anyways mere impressions gleaned from a media who presumably wanted me to think that way as surely I could not work that out for myself.

    No.

The most unbiased news source is the BBC. It summed Obama's race legacy up quite well as he was obviously unqualified in that field.

I would say the most unbiased is public broadcasting.

    Or this:

Trump is obviously and without serious controversy a fascist demagogue. He's very nearly a type specimen.

The Republican Party was taken over by an American fascist movement during Reagan's tenure, and fully co-0pted by 1994. It's been a fascist Party ever since - and Trump is its current leader and strongman.

There's nothing strange about that, or in the least controversial - America has always had a strong fascist political faction, far outweighing its authoritarian leftist fringe. We very nearly came in on Hitler's side in WWII, for example - we had large Nazi rallies in our major cities, and Lindbergh was thought to be a serious potential Presidential candidate (his only serious objection to the governments of Hitler and Mussolini was their extreme mistreatment of their Jewish citizens: he thought that Germany, in particular, was going too far in its handling of the (and I quote Lindbergh) "Jewish problem". )

There was never a blacklist of fascist sympathizers in the US - communist authoritarians never had anywhere near the necessary power or political representation, and "liberal humanists" (leftwing libertarians) do not blacklist or the like.
The battle in the US has always been between leftwing libertarians (liberals, in the US) and rightwing authoritarians (fascists, in the US), the current resurgence of rightwing authoritarian (fascist) power and media control (since around 1980) has brought us the Trump Presidency. It is a fascist Presidency, obviously and without serious argument. What else would you call it?

Ironically, here on this forum, foreigners often know far more about the US government than you do - just as you've shown you know less about the Bible than some atheists here.

Funny how the same people who see communists, socialists, anarchists, and even Antifa absolutely everywhere act as though fascists are akin to unicorns or something.

Easy to say when you've yet to show how. Leftists believing leftist propaganda and atheists believing atheist straw men and ignorance. Pretty trivially assures you won't recognize anything but your own bias being confirmed here.

Communists and antifa are fascists. Just look at how they attack media for reporting on their vandalism and violence and use violence, threats, etc. to suppress opposition.

    ???

Can you show me "how they attack media for reporting on their vandalism and violence" and how they "use violence, threats, etc. to suppress opposition?" 'Cuz, I mean, I've seen how fascists have done, and are doing, these things, but I am not at all clear as to what you are referring to here.

Maybe read more than CNN, NYT, and WP. Hell, it's been some of those outlet's own reporters. Maybe you remember seeing something about a bike lock used as a weapon?

Maybe just like, read. Anything. Start with Thomas the Tank Engine and work your way up from there.

I guess that's what you feel you need to tell yourself. God forfend you accept the fact that people who disagree with you are more widely read, including the aforementioned CNN, NYT, and WP. But we all know it's projection, since you don't read anything but leftist, mainstream sources.

In Loud Ape world, words mean whatever you need them to to support your agenda. Just twist them to your liking!

Today anti means pro! Antimatter is matter. Anti-vaxxers are pro vaccine! People take antibiotics to promote bacterial growth.

Let's see what word Loud Ape twists tomorrow.
Funny. It turns out that those attacks often come . . . from white supremacists, specifically Evropa, American Guard and Proud Boys. Funny how you never saw that in your media bubble. Of course, with your news sources actually photoshopping pictures of protesters to make them look more violent, I can see how you'd be confused.

No, I just understand that the only valid political spectrum is one dimensional power of government. People like the two dimensional ones that have right and left horizontally and authoritarian and libertarian vertically, but increased power of government correlates with authoritarianism and left, at least in the US (elsewhere there is no analog to the US libertarian right, there's just authoritarian right and left). Antifa, as seen in Seattle, will just fill the power vacuum left by the police, build walls, stop and frisk, demand taxes (or extortion), etc.. Pretty simple, but I see how you couldn't manage it.

Are you intentionally lying or just ignorant? Unlike you, I have no media bubble. I read CNN, NYT, WP, etc. regularly. Quit projecting.

Glad you find your own ignorance entertaining.

He can't tell fascism from communism.
He thinks antifa is some kind of organized political ideology or entity.
And he gathers regular "likes" and approvals from the other wingnuts here - he's not an outlier.
    !
    No way to parody that.

The weirdest part of that self-revealing claim is that it's obviously not true - members of the rightwing corporate media bubble though they are, those corporate rightwing news framers do maintain some allegiance to physical reality, and in consequence inform their readers about stuff Vociferous remains completely ignorant of. Even CNN, if "read" regularly (?), will provide a body of physical facts that our boy here has never encountered.

To repeat: he's not an outlier, or fringe nutcase, in any aspect of his posting here. When self-described "centrist" Democratic politicians talk about bipartisan appeals and compromises with "both sides", that is what they are talking about appealing to and compromising with.

Four more years of America marking time and losing further status and influence in the world. Four more years of increasing inequality for American citizens. Four more years of big business benefiting at the expense of the American poor. Four more years of Trump tweeting, while playing no significant role in leading or running the country. And so on and so forth.
