Fishermen are towing icebergs back from the arctic to make the world's best water. it costs about $150 per glass. What do you think? Would you buy this? Will they run out of icebergs?
i don't know but it must be good. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Perhaps rainwater has boiled to evaporation then been frozen...
OK, distill some water and then freeze it and sell it for only $100 per glass. Give it a catchy name like "Iceaura" and market your way to riches...
I imagine if you fed Cows iceberg water the milk they make would taste different as would the ice-cream made from that milk.
So ... pure rain water is not pure. Rain forms around suspended impurities in the air, so it can't be pure. Sometimes those impurities can be quite polluting. Enough to change the pH of lakes it falls in and kill the wildlife (look up "acid rain"). If you want pure water, buy a nice reverse-osmosis water system.
.....or if you froze the cow first and milked them after defrosting Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
