I would be impressed if science, upon which many a manchild have built lucrative careers, can produce a particle or define the term ONE or justify why it is searching for a final theory or a starting "point".

    It's already done so.

"One" is a mathematical term. Try looking there.

You mean a final theory AND a starting point.
    Justify why it's searching?
What do you think the purpose/ aim of science is?

I will be impressed when one of the religions finally produces some evidence.

I will be impressed when the theists finally get their act together and settle on a definition of god.

    Well, I'm waiting.

To order reality into a cohesive model...and to use it to control one's fate.

    What is science to you?

Is the indivisible particle already discovered?
    Really?

so, about the #1...you admit that it is a linguistic term.

No, the number one is a mathematical term.

And you don't think a good idea of how it started, and a single descriptor, would help?

Indivisible paerticle? Where was that mentioned?
    Why do we need one?

    Can you read?
Me: "One" is a mathematical term.
Where is the word "linguistic" in there?

The evidence you seek will come and go, and it will be too late for you use it for your good.

I always love the pro-scientific progress statement that some people make along the lines: We may not be able to do it now, but science will be able to do it tomorrow. We have no reason to predict failure. You can't argue with that anymore than when you argue with someone when they use the line of reasoning, "Who are YOU to say..."

Nobody has been able to produce something from absolutely nothing. Nobody can come close to empirically demonstrating how the first piece of matter was born, and anybody who says otherwise is preaching scientism.
