Never tried it. I am one of those people who "never hurt a fly"

After all I am following buddhism, which makes me a buddhist (a learner), so no killing anything on my part.

I'm confused. You believe it's wrong to kill anything, yet you don't know if you would like it if you did kill something ?

Do you think you would have fun stepping on ants ?

    no, I wouldnt.

I regard ants as humans, they are striving everyday, working to increase their population. They are efficient just as humans are and are intelligent.

I might have fun eating them if I am hungry. I heard they taste like citric acid.

Are you being serious ? Because you are contradicting yourself here in a major way..

My primary stance and action is to not kill/hurt anything.

My secondary stance and action is to regard that which is unknown to me as unknown of my own action towards it. Therefore I allow the possibility that since it is unknown, there is a possibility that I might not enjoy it or might enjoy it.

Well buddy, you are crushing life everyday just by being human.
And promoting the expansion of humanity is akin to promoting the destruction of life on Earth.

    I am being serious there.

Like you, yourself said, the world is not black and white.

My stance on the issue is to not hurt the thing, but I am curious in nature. So while I will not have fun killing something, I might be interested in trying what it feels like based on accounts of others. However that said, I have not done any sorts of killing based on anyone elses accounts. I am however allowing this possibility, due to the unknown.

"I regard ants as humans, they are striving everyday, working to increase their population. They are efficient just as humans are and are intelligent."
This is like saying that those people in that other country are just as good as the people in your country, you respect them for who they are and you sure don't wish to kill them.
Then, on the other hand, you are promoting war against them.

    And please, see post 231.

I usually don't do my own surgery either. So what?

I've hunted, killed, gutted and eaten prey before. Bare hands even.

I don't bother with that any more but if I needed to I could. What of it?
