Just my two cents, but I think Reiku has won. We should all acquiesce to his demands for justice. I'm now getting nervous that he may have some secret powers that will cause us all (anyone who disagrees with him) to be "sent to the corn" as it were (think old Twilight Zone episode).

Plasma should immediately apologize to Reiku and offer him a doughnut. Or a danish. Or something.

What's funny is a how a few certain mods whine about the whiners, claiming that they are 'oversensitive'. But then they impose ridiculous bans when you insult the 'golden' posters, or make politically incorrect observations. Or for simply saying the word 'cunt', or calling a poster a 'pussy' in a joking manner.

The hypocrisy is mind blowing. The response of the mod squad to complaints is beyond the pale. The reasoning employed by the so called leaders of sciforums makes a mockery of scientific and logical thought.

The forum voted to dispose of the infraction system, and the head honchos decide to force a backfire by engaging in a good ole false dichotomy "If you don't want the infraction system, that means you MUST want instant bans with no preceding warning."

Hey, if you want to nip things in the bud, why not just get rid of the mods? No infractions, no bans, hence no complaining. Or even better, just get rid of sciforums.
